Step 1. Get Your Affiliate Link

Simply sign up with ClickBank to get your affiliate ID and promote your link. Your affiliate link will be in this format:

Step 2. Protect Your Affiliate Link

We highly recommend that you get into the routine of using a redirect script to hide your link so you can use this technique in future when you're promoting in other products. Here's how to protect your affiliate link.

1. Create a new .txt file.
2. Enter the follow line of code inside your .txt file;
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=LINK">
3. Replace 'LINK' with your ClickBank affiliate link.
4. Close and save the text file.
5. Rename the text file to a index.html file.
6. Create a new folder called 'teachmehow'.
7. Move the index.html into your new folder.
8. Upload this folder to the root of one of your websites.

Example:

If you already own a website eg. http://www.yourdomain.com you can place your teachmehow folder in the root of your site so that it becomes http://www.yourdomain.com/teachmehow.

Now test the link to see if it redirects to the Teach Me How site and if so, you've done it! You should also note that when a visitor lands on the sales page, your affiliate link will also be masked.

We high recommend that you continue to practice this technique when you promote other products especially if you're promoting through Email.

Step 3. Send Out An Email!

Edit the link at the bottom of the Email message and replace with your affiliate link. For protection we recommend you follow step #2 and cloak your link within your domain. Simply copy and paste the Email message into your Aweber account and broadcast the Email. After your initial broadcast you can add it to your autoresponder series to automated commissions.
